Thread: Dealers

    Dealers

I posted a query on the New Jersey Forum but wanted to post this on the general Gen V forum as well: Does anyone know any good/reputable dealers in NJ? I had some decent feedback in December but wanted to see if there were any other/new suggestions. Now that my car is being built, the big issue is going to be service! Crazy to have to worry about this, right?

Have to agree with Plum, most want nothing to do with servicing a Viper. I had a terrible experience over a dysfunctional door handle and the glass window in the rear hatch, took over three months. After all that they dropped the car off at my house with the CEL on and just left. JD

Is it still possible to get warranty work done, from a non dodge dealer?

Plumcrazy, do you live in Jersey? And if so, where do you go?

Itd be a trek, but Colonial CDJ just outside of Boston is where I purchased from. If I lived up there Id use them for service in a hearbeat. Their tech David was excellent.

Yeah, that's a trek. Crazy, 100k car and no place for service?

north NJ. tators is close enough to drive to, use him. I have a tendancy to not use dealers for anything. id rather pay a buddy of mine with a local shop to do it right.

    So, he can do anything?

He can do anything but warranty work. I've paid out of my own pocket with Chuck rather than have anyone in NY touch my car. the Dealerships are a disaster in our area.
