    Is that your home track? You seem very familiar with it, very smooth. I also noticed that the gear indicator on your data logger seems to read 1 gear lower than actual.

    Also, how did your lap times compare with the previous ACR?

    Second home track, Mid Ohio being first. I tried to recalibrated the gear shifter while on track, didnt work to well, it is off one gear. I was about 2 seconds off from my last car i overlayed the videos to see where it was, and most of it is just pushing this new one a bit harder, i think i can pull close to the same times.

    Was running pirelli scrubs, that was the end of there useful life. I ran the first two sessions with the stock tires at a 2:05.

    Thanks for sharing, excellent video and data, nice job for sure on the driving, looked like you grew up on that track, lol. I'll be referring to this in the future when I get myself to VIR, great reference material, thanks.

    Looking good Luke!

    Curious how you find the handling in quicker transitions, and generally on corner exit. There are times that I tend to notice a bit more pitching than I think there should be, but more on slower vehicle speed quick transitions sections on various tracks. Maybe through the series of VIR corners just ahead of the short straight into the uphill esses at VIR, but don't actually recall the sensation there. The places I tend to notice it most is when quick transitions are combined with elevation change that unweights the suspension, and Mid-Ohio should offer that combination for you to experience. I tend to think the answer is stiffer springs all around, with a little bias to the front, but also don't want to try to fix a problem that maybe doesn't even exist, or take away from the car's otherwise great handling. Thoughts?

    Also, was Gary there in his TA?

    Just curious, what was the outside temperature that day? Did cold temps play a role regarding grip?

    Bruce it does seem the car is a a bit softer sprung, i had mcs shocks on my last car 800/1000 and it felt a bit more stable in transition and pitch. It seemed i had to give a bit less steering inputs everywhere and pay a bit more attention to keeping the car balanced. Im pretty sure it could use some stiffer springs, but im not sure if ill change these. Probably good enough as its a never ending battle of modifying. I think srt/dodge went soft springs stiff dampers vs stiff spring soft dampers so they could have the adjustable ride. Trying to correct suspension without some kind of data is a pain, and that is why i bought this car to run it as is. My old car had 30 more hp, aero and suspension. My theoritical best for that session as a 2 min flat. Compairing cornering speeds with my other car they are very very close, probably within driver error, some of the ta speeds was faster. I think with some more seat time i could probably break into 1:59's. Gary couldnt make it but will be there monday and tuesday. Im interested in what he runs since he is faster than me anyways.

    Hey Mike! Adding on to above my tires was def. at there end point. So its not always a fair trade off with me since i always runs scrub tires. Some you get are better than others, and on top of that these are finished. Im also on the factory alignment specs and with slicks its not enought camber. Planning on getting an alignment before i go to NCM in 2 weeks. Hopefully i can get 3+

    Thanks Luke. I think you're right about the choice of soft springs and stiff damper valving. A damper with really good valving can handle a stiffer spring and maintain ride quality, but these may be few and far between. I suspect MCS is along those based on Mark J's comments about ride quality remaining good with much stiffer springs. I could definitely use stiffer springs for my home track and another I like to do because they both have the rather unique combination of a high speed section into a brake zone which is set into a rise that generates more grip and harder braking than what you can get on a flat surface. That drives the nose down, scraping my splitter, which others don't seem to experience. I won't lower ride height so it can still clears normal road stuff, but it would be great to reduce nose dive with stiffer springs, corner balance, and maybe improve handling in other areas. I guess the answer for now is to just not brake as hard in those two brake zones

    Were there any other cars there running similar times to dice it up with?
