Michelin 325 19's Width

I am running Pilot Super Sports 345/19's on Forgelines. I am getting some minor outer edge rubbing on big g-outs. (yes the car is lowered) I do not like this..... Are 325's in the Pilot Super sports closer to the old 335's in actual size, and is there anyone running these? From what I hear Michelins run on the wide side of things.

345/30-19 Gen 3/4 size? Where is it rubbing? The OD of the 19 is over an inch larger than the 18" 335

During deeper suspension compressions, the very outer edge of the rear tire kisses the ledge of the upper wheel well ledge--just enough to leave a rubber residual on the inner painted surface. If I had 1/8 of an inch narrower, or an offset of a similar amount, there would be no problem. So the question is, are Pilot Super Sports in a 325, which seem to run on the wide side, be of roughly equal actual width as a former 335? Nitto 345's are actually narrower than the Michelins, and no problems have been reported. Its not too bad, but obviously not ideal.

I do not have any info for you, but I am interested in the outcome of this. I have been running 345s on my gen 2 as well, but had them on ccw's with no rubbing. I recently purchased some forgelines and plan on running the same 345s, I wonder if I will have the same rubbing issues. for your sake (and possibly mine), I hope there is a easy fix because I would much rather run the super sport 345s than a nitto invo or have to go down to a 325.

335/30-18 PS2 = 12.7" tread width
345/30-19 PS2 C1 viper tire = 13.2"
345/30-19 PSS = 13"
325/30-19 PSS = 12.1"

All the specs are on tire rack. What rear camber are you running?

Yeah... old thread. Sorry guys. I got some slight grazing on the outer edge of the tire that I only noticed after a little road trip I took last summer. See pictures. Sorry they are upside down. I hit some pretty big bumps on the drive at highway speeds. No noise at all though. Car drove awesome. The car was lowered (thank you BC coilovers) and the car looks so much better that way IMO. Maybe it's just the ricer in me...

I have rear 345/30/19 tires on 19x13 CCW wheels. Specs from CCW (I ordered these brand new and they claimed to use "standard viper sizing"... of course I didn't verify this before I ordered them)

Wheel specs:
19 x 13 (diam x width, inches)
Per CCW, backspacing = 9.25"
Offset = backspacing - 0.5 x width = 9.25 - 0.5 x 13 = 2.75" (in millimeters, 2.75 x 25.4 = 69.85 ~70 mm... is this close to the OEM 17x13 offset?)

Rear wheel camber -1.0* (AFAIK at my last alignment after I lowered the car)

I raised the car back up about 1/2" and maybe it's just me but, it just doesn't look as good. No more rubbing issue. See attached pics (last one).

Anyone running the 325 PSS tires instead of 345's and can verify no clearance issues with lowered car? Pics of before/after?
