    I love my Gen II

Did I mention I frggin love my Gen II....I just took it for a nice nighttime drive with the hardtop on, since it was only 50* out...The car drives so nice, I love it!!! Best car I have ever owned!!!

(is there anything you could do to make the roof less noisy when going over bumps?)

Huh, how bout that it is 50. After freezing yesterday in the Medowlands it didn't quite feel like 50 today.

I had to put a new seal around part of mine and that helped a lot.....If that doesn't work try missing the bumps

Mine's always been squeaky.. We probably drive over the same exact bumps so if you find a solution, please let me know! haha... For some reason I feel like the roof squeaks more if I've been driving in the sun for a longer period of time. Some sort of expansion? No idea, but this questions been asked often and people say to mess with the mounting latches to try and tighten them further I think.

The Hard top is very tricky all the latches can be adjusted. Many here have done this and even made their hard tops 100% waterproof. It can be done. If you don't want to mess with it yourself...perhaps drop it off to Chuck Tator he can tackle that for sure.

Duh, best cars ever built. Incredible road presence, plenty of hp and torque to have a good time, relatively low production numbers where you do not pass 3 of them every time you take it for a ride like some cars 9not going to mention any names), simple mechanicals and can be fixed with a hammer and duct tape. What is there NOT too like? NOTHING. I suspect I will have mine forever.

Oh, the solution for a squeaky top is a GTS or take it off. ;-)

Go faster or get a louder exhaust.

Being out in Arizona since I started driving, I always seemed to notice on hot days/in the summer that the interior of my trucks (brand new, btw) would have squeaks and rattles on the interior. Definitely not mechanical but coming from the interior. I always assumed it was due to the heat causing expansion in the places where the dash clipped on and stuff like that. It could just be perception I guess. But just letting you know I don't think you are imagining it.

I love the noises mine makes, part of it's character. Good thing since the valve train sounds like it came straight out of a P51 mustang and hasn't seen oil in 4 years...

was gonna take it out for a drive on the first day of spring, but we got 6" of snow for spring...

Sometimes I think it sounds like the most badass sewing machine on earth. But yes the Viper noises are unique. And cool.

I have returned to my state of depression as my beloved car sits..awaiting the warm air of Spring. We have had perhaps 30 miles together before the Winter from HELL arrived! Oh, don't worry folks, most of the snow will go south of us says the weatherman.

I awoke to oh about 4 or so new inches of snow and it's still snowing! When will it end?! I have wanted a Gen2 since college, which was far too long ago. Now that I have one, mother nature has not been kind to us car guys!
    Rant over! I hope!

Once the snow and salt is gone we will have the crumbling roads and potholes to deal with. I am going through withdraw. Can't wait until hopefully next weekend an C&C starts back up again.
