I too am interested in the lowering caps, however, how much clearance is there between the ground and the bottom of the splitter after the drop? Mine will strictly be used on the weekends for cruising, canyon runs and possible 1/8 mile runs at Qualcomm.

We have done a half dozen cap installs now and every car sat at a different height, the factory height variation is +- .5" so if you car is already low you can guess 5/8" lower.
