    Who is the closest Viper tech around me

    Located in Tyrone PA. Looking for someone that works on Vipers and knows the ins and outs. I do a lot of work myself, but it is always nice to know who is in my area. I have heard of Tators garage, but he is 8 hours away from me. Trying to find someone closer, that know Vipers and how to set them up properly. Thanks Todd

    There should bena viper tech near youngstown ohio. Dealership is Bob and Chuck Eddie.

    I've taken mine to Fairfield Dodge in Muncy, PA (probably an hour and a half from you)
    They have SRT certified techs there and have been great to me, that's the closest one I have found that I trust.

    They have done my dyno work for me and I have run into them at the track more than a few times.

    We are in Buffalo... still probably damn close to the same distance as Chuck.

    You are actually closer to me. Only a four hour trip from where I live. This spring I want to have my viper gone over by a tech who can set it up to make it handle like it is on rails.

    Contact me in the spring, and I will see what I can do for you. We are in the process right now of attempting to relocate, and I do not know where the chips will fall between now and then- but if its possible to get it done, we can try and squeak it in. Track Alignments are generally something we side-step for the street cars due to liability, tire wear, and general customer complaints [our roads SUCK] but on customer request of spec, we will do it. That said, be aware that rubber bushed setups are always going to be "close", and will ultimately always move around a little.

    Thanks, it will be more oriented to a street setup. This winter I will be replacing my suspension bushing, and anything else rubber that is associated with it. The stuff on the car is in decent shape, but I think it will be good for my car and I knowing that everything is in like new shape. My question is should I be looking for oem, aftermarket poly bushings, or something else to replace my old stock bushings?
    On a side note, you guys seems do do some amazing stuff with the top ends of the gen II motors. My goal is to do the top end of my car within the next few years. After I get all my maintained caught up and the handling suited to my likening.

    I would generally push someone in your situation to a Poly type bushing, assuming it is a track/street car. Basically, if its track use, go spherical bearings. If its track/street, go poly. For street only, stick with rubber.

    Thanks Dan, One more question for you. Do you do Dyno tuning with the sct tuners? I have an sct with a mail order tune, but would not mind getting my car dynoed tuned when the alignment is done. If so, I will be calling to schedule an appointment for next yr. Thanks Todd

    Sure do. We are the first SCT tuner for the Viper platform, literally since day 1.
