    Should I get??

Was searching the internet for suspension when I found a good deal on these. Here is the Ad:

"This is a used front and rear adjustable coil over dynamic suspension struts with Eibach Sportline Springs. These came off my 2008 dodge srt10 viper, but they will fit on any 2003-2010 hardtop coupe, or roadster convertible.you can adjust the height normal stance or lower over 3 inches. This is a no reserve auction so winning bidder gets it.Seller reserves the right to remove the listing at any time as item is listed in other sites and for sale locally. Good luck and God bless"

Was wondering if you guys thought it was worth a buy??? Thanks!

Nope. Look closer. You can see the adjuster on the fronts is a lot shorter then the other. From what I can tell, even you get the ride height correct one spring would be significantly stiffer then the other.

Also these aren't anything special. Vipair stuff over OEM shocks.

If you want cheap buy some BC's. Or pony up the big bucks for KW, MCS or Penske.

I too noticed how they were adjusted differently. I wondered how difficult it would be to even them out. The only part that really held my attention was the price. I feel like 340$ shipped is a steal for adjustable suspension.

If it's Vipair stuff that actually got delivered, I feel that does make it special. We know how rare that is. Though if it is shitty Vipair stuff, I suppose that brings it right back to not special. They are cheap though. The money you save will come in handy when they break and you destroy your front end.

The stock shocks didn't do a great job of controlling the stock springs on mine...I can't imagine how much worse they'd be if given a shorter range of travel on top of having to deal with higher spring rates.

Honestly, I think you'd be better off taking the cash you were going to spend on these and putting it through a shredder. At least you'd get some fun confetti out of it, which would probably be more useful than what's in those pictures.

so wait, you do like these? Or you don't? I can't tell how you feel on the subject. LOL. Wow. Seems like we all answered in unison with basically the same thought. Though I have to admit yours was the most creative and fun to visualize. It's probably true though. Cause once he bought em and it turns out that they are garbage, he probably won't be able to sell them.

I would say leave it stock or go with respectable suspension companies. Suspension is not a place you want cheap Chinese crap. If a stereo goes or an amp dies or whatever then you are fine, you just have no music. When one of these breaks, you got trouble on your hands.

My apologies for the ambiguity...let me put it another way: if I was given a choice of buying these or being diagnosed with terminal cancer, I'd think about giving these some consideration. But I'd probably just go ahead and deal with the cancer. And, you know, die.

Actually, I may now have cancer just from looking at those pictures.

Ah yes, now I get it.

It's funny how quickly these this were shot down and not just for the reputation of the manufacturer but rather for their easily viewable design flaws. Well, and the reputation of the manufacturer.

Those are stockers with the Vipair "lowering" sleeve he produced a few years back.

Do not go this route you will have a huge letdown if you ever ride or drive a car with a proper suspension from K&W, or MCS. It is not worth the "good deal" that you may think it is. Save your money and buy a quality set.

They look identical to the Ground Control setup I had on my old Camaro...I didn't like a thing about them. Put some miles on them, and the adjusters became incredibly hard to turn.

    I'm your huckleberry.

I have been really happy with my "sub-par" suspension that I purchased 4+ years ago. I wanted the dropped look. At the time, Motons were too $$$ and the eibachs/cap combo frequently showed inconsistent heights (wheel gaps). I wanted the height adjustability for different occasions; mainly mile racing and for the ability to corner weigh. So, I risked it and purchased from Vipair. To the surprise of many, these showed up about 1 week later. No issues with installation or the products, although one of my front shocks did go bad after 2 years (not uncommon even on OEM height). I think the shocks were 500F/800R.

Are there better options? Certainly. I simply wanted more than springs, but less than a race-spec fully adjustable shock. This was the most sensible solution at the time. Its all about versatility. Heck, if I wanted to I could swap to 200lbs spring in the rear and make the rear squat on a nice 6000 rpm launch. It ought to hook

Here a few pics of my infinite height tinkering with this suspension system on stock shocks:

    STOCK:

    AFTER:
    - On Vipair adjustable perches and OEM shocks

Slammed for Texas Mile: 195mph pass
    - Running a short 305/35-18 (25") tire upfront
    - Note that rear intentionally left relatively higher for proper rake angle
    - Stayed planted and true at that nasty Texas Mile bump at the 1/2 mile mark (those who have been there can relate)
    - Pics courtesy of Speed Hunters

    ROAD RACING:
    - Corner weighed
    - ACR stoptech rotors with Carbotech pads on Kuhmo V700s tires
    - MSR Houston, ran 1:46s (per phone app) during Viper event (Nov '12)
    - Also went off the track, dangerously fun spin and kept shiny side up, have Autoform roll bar, but verts aren't for real racing

    TEST SPRING RATES:
    - Those 800lb rear springs rates do come in handy when you throw 6 hotties on the vert:
