    ACR VS TA Laguna Seca.

Had a great time today battling a ACR.

Nice driving Darius. I was glad when you finally passed him, I could tell he was slowing you down. Some people just hate getting passed.

Love it! Did you get cited for sound at all? You picked the good day, I'm down here for Saturdays event and it looks like it's going to rain. The one damn day it rains out of the whole week!

Ha, I noticed him getting off the pedal heading up the hill, was assuming he was trying to avoid the mic. Stock car? Great vid!

Yes you have to lift and move away from the sound booth going up to turn 6.

Just one time, at the last session of the day I wanted to see how fast I could get one lap so I blew past the sound booth wot. Even though I hit a little traffic, one car slowed me down coming into turn 6 and with a 200lb passenger I managed to pull off a 1.36

1.36 is still crazy fast! I made it out there today and after the rain got a few good sessions in with a little wetness here and there. My brake pedal went to mush on my last session and that's with a fresh fill of Motul. How did your pedal feel after that session? I should've just went with the Castrol to begin with.

Did you run rbf600? I've never had a problem with it. I thought my TA brakes were the bee's knee's till I got it on the track. They felt "ok" for half of the 1st session then became mushy and had no real initial bite, more like a smash the peddle as hard as you can and wait till you slow down feel. The session's after that were all the same, which leads me to think the fluid has boiled and there's air in the system. The stock pads also look like a burger king whopper, flame broiled! I'm gonna upload the 1.36 lap, I can't figure out how to overlay a time stamp so I'm gonna time it from the corkscrew.

Yes, rbf600. It's weird, I've never had a problem with it either. My last time on the track at Buttonwillow I had absolutely no issues. Hard pedal, great bite the whole time. What you are describing is literally exactly how mine felt. I've never boiled Motul, so it was very strange to say the least.

Not one Viper at the track yesterday for me. A couple of new Z06's...but they couldn't hang with the TA. I need to get me a set of r7's so I can really have some fun.

Good driving. Some people just don't know when to get out of the way. If he was smart, he could have picked up a couple seconds by watching your lines.

The 1st session of the day he was behind me and thought he was going to pass me. I ended up leaving him in the dust. He came up to me completely amazed and said in the 7yrs he's owned the car nobody has smoked him like that. His car is fully prepped, caged, gutted, race brakes, basically a ACR x but stock motor. So they next session I let him go in front so we could play around a bit. Real nice guy from Canada, he travels all over just doing track days.

I love the sound of the rev limiter

The ACR struggled with his lines a bit, particularly the corner after the main straight and after the corkscrew (not for chickens). Fun to watch. A lot of 2nd gear out there, that's a bit disappointing. No place like TWS!
