    2014 GTS Price???

    Hi everyone,
Looking to get back into a Viper again and found a fully loaded 2014 speced the way I would have ordered it. It has a 156K MSRP before the Dodge rebate(15K) but the dealer will only go to 130K. I would have to add about another 9K to register it here in Utah so its a no deal for me right now. The dealer has had the car and 2 others for months but obviously has no problem keeping them. My question for all of you is this a good deal or should I wait and try to get a 2015? What does everyone think about that price? I have seen some screaming deals on 2014s but this dealer will not go lower.
My other choice is to get a Z06/Z07 fully optioned /specked by me for only 107K!!! I would really like to get the Viper because its NA but I cant justify the price difference. I do really like both cars and iam not in a rush to get it as I have a new 2015 CTS-V man. trans coupe on its way to play with. Kevin

That's a horrible deal. I'll let others wax on about it, but take a pass, that would've been a decent deal a year or so ago, in the summer, fresh off the truck, with some free service thrown in, etc.

I'd continue to shop for '14s or just order a '15, you can find dealers who'll order at invoice for Pete's sake, let alone leftovers which should have a similar MSRP and be at $100k or less.

Nice but I do not like red or the interior color......I want one just like this plus the SRT hood in Gray, white,Yellow in that order and it must have stripes. I wish I could order a 15 set up like that but I know it would be expensive.

The 2 cars I found are Gray 130K in Maryland
    Yellow 127K Cali.

Tomball has a silver 2014 demo (1035 miles) with all you ask minus the stripes and can be had for around $123K. MSRP is $135K after the $15K price adjustment. It has every option except stripes.

No offense Vic, but that's insane. A 2014 demo with 1K on it for 123K? In silver?

To me that's a year old used car even if it does come with full warranty. Someone would have to be oblivious to the current Viper market conditions to pay $123K for that car.

I know, I feel the same way and that's why it is still sitting there!! Didn't matter to them at all it had miles on it, they see it still as a new car. That's why I now have this one.

You have two choices: buy one not optioned as you like thats on a lot or custom order

There are new cars out there you can pickup today like this 2015 that sort of suit your needs.

Good news is you won't have to because that is just preposterous.

If you think that is what a GTS like this would go for, then gen IVs are now worth $40k. Just FYI

Tell that STEALERSHIP to keep it you can get a way better deal than that! If you get one i would drive to his STEALERSHIP and show him your new car.

No not carbon editions both cars have advanced aero,CF out and in, and Laguna package. Msrps were originally 155-156K pre the 15K reduction.

85k is a bit on the low side BUT there is one dealer in SoCal who is willing to let go of a 2013 GTS for high 70s and definitely 80. I know of a yellow 2014 GTS here in SoCal that has an asking of 90 something but I think it might have sold. It had the track pack and carbon fiber or advanced aero I think, in addition, to the laguna package.

I guess a realistic price is in the 95 to 110k range. Aero and cf are expensive options so you shouldn't be paying MSRP for that.

What dealer is selling a gts for 70s here in socal?

  24. #24
my 14 gts was not fully loaded but did have an original msrp of 130k, i picked it up for 88k just a couple of weeks ago. thought that was a pretty good deal.
