06 front facscia warpen ... how to fix???

Hi guys,

On Friday I picked up my front fascia from the body shop as it needed a respray. Today I took a good look and saw that the two bottom barts are warped. Insteeds of a straight line I have two wobbles. I don't like the sight of it. On RT/10 forums I found a fix for the bars in the front fascia but not the bottom half as there is nothing to fixate it to! Need some input as ordering a new bumper here is very difficult because Vipers are very rare in Belgium. The Wobbles are in the secotrs 1 and 2 and face up. Below is no material just air and the the part where the frond chasiscover connects

I assume that you are describing the flexible fascia material as not holding a straight line or smooth arc, and sagging in places, rather than something caused by excessive sanding away of material?

I would think that a body shop could add a stiffening rib on the underside that would straighten out the waviness, if that is what you are describing. They would have to create a rib that is straight or curved the same as the way the backside of the fascia should be curved, and then glue it in place with professional autobody adhesive.

I'm sure that there are also other ways that they could think of doing it.

I will post a picture tomorrow but the description of AZTVR fits perfecT. I was thinking on bonding an aluminum plate to the fascia
