    Car will not start! Help!

Gents, So long story short I took my baby (2006 SRT-10) to the drag strip last night and when I got home the car will not start since. I was able to push start it, like any other manual, but the button is not working. I have searched through all three forums and none of their issues were mine. When the clutch is fully depressed, and the push button is pressed, there is a single click noise that comes from the fuse box. I pulled every fuse in desperation and they all looked fine. I also pulled each relay and tried to press the start button to see if it still would make a clicking noise. It did. Since the 25Amp ASD fuse and the ASD relay were fine I thought it might be the clutch sensor. Well the noise will only come when the clutch is fully depressed so that rules it out. Any other thoughts guys? Thanks for the help.

Yes of course, battery is running strong. All lights are on, has full voltage. The car is my daily, so it doesnt ever sit. I have not had any problems with the battery, and now it doesn't even attempt to turn over.

That is what I am figuring, but hoping there is something out there that might be cheaper/easier to fix. Going to test the starter for voltage when I return home.

Turn the key forward, jump the s terminal to pos battery cable and see if it jumps.

*assuming this is a standard starter with the S terminal, pos and neg cables*

Is the car stock or does it have headers? Check the positive battery cable at the starter for corrosion and make sure the nut is tight. I have run into this more then once. It will look tight but it's not making a full connection. I would also use a test light or voltmeter to check for power on the small signal wire at the starter while someone is pushing the start button.

Ha! Thank you all for the help. I jacked her up to take a look at the starter and saw (picture). That little pesky bastard had come loose. Figures it would happen when I was an hour away from home. Thanks again! 11008384_10155227101805717_9107559742882685937_n.jpg

Good find, looks like you got a bit of corrosion, get a contact tip cleaner and some dielectric grease when you install it.
