6 months and waiting... for Warranty Repairs

It's been 6 months and some since I originally contacted Chrysler to fix my paint, they have made no effort to fix it. Both the dealers in San Diego Carl Burger and Rancho have refused to repaint the parts in question (can't match Prefix quality) and Prefix apparently is too expensive for them to send it back there to get repainted it. We're still in Lemon Law no mans land with the RO Reviews, over 46 days in the shop, Window Leaks, Glass Brackets Broken, Paint Defects. $140,000 pile of rubbish, now the electronics are tripping balls and rebooting as I'm driving.

Sorry to hear of your problems, I can imagine it must be extremely frustrating. I recall reading your other thread but don't remember if you mentioned anything about a lawyer? Is there any state agency that can be contacted regarding this?

Working with Texas DMV and potentially about to retain an attorney.

I have lemon law a car with far less problems than you have had, took about 6 months and I had all my money back and a little extra!
Perhaps you need a different lemon attorney

Have you had the latest software updates done? How has it been in the shop for 46 days and simultaneously resetting as you are driving the car around? Hasn't it been in the shop for 46 days? Also, never saw pics of the paint defects.

No offense, but how many threads do we need about your car? What is this, 5 now?

Good guess. For reference, he did detail the issues in these threads:

Paint Imperfections-Blemishes Anyone else have any
Whistling noise from driver side window door area while going over 65
How is this acceptable for 140,000 dollar car Problem after problem after problem
And it's being reviewed for buy back
6 months and waiting for Warranty Repairs

I'm curious to see how this gets resolved.

this doesn't make sense, i've called prefix in the past and they charge less per panel to paint then the 2 other shops i called locally when i had a self made paint issue last year. are they saying they won't cover the shipping cost? if that's the case drive it out there and fly back, let chrysler pay prefix to repaint it then ship it back. enclosed 1 way shipping from Michigan to Deigo is $1100 and a one way ticket from Michigan to Diego is $250, that would all be covered by the cash Chrysler is going to offer you to sign a waiver releasing them from prior days down. just my .02
