Weather's deteriorating for Saturday as we speak. 50% snow and temps in the low 30's. I'll show up if the event isn't rescheduled, in my Civic Hybrid, not my Lexus Hybrid! The Viper's a lot like me, shrivels up in the corner of the garage and doesn't want to come out.

I am probably not going to attend, my business has been shut down since Sunday and looks to not reopen till Friday( hopefully) so I am probably going to work Sat and try and make a few bucks.

WELL, due to the inclement weather, we have decided to cancel our Viper events for this weekend including the Raleigh Dyno, Western Zone Luncheon, and Southern Zone Luncheon. The roads will likely be clear by the weekend, but more rainy weather is expected and salt / sand residue will still likely pollute the roads.

We are hoping to work out some alternate arrangements before we get too close to our March 21st event. So sorry folks, but we'll keep you all posted!

Cancelling is the safest bet; my area is still being forecasted with potential snow on Saturday plus the roads are filthy.

Dave you know the reason they cancelled is because at a Viper Event, a Hybrid can't be present due to image problems!

You don't really think I would drive one of my hybrids to a Viper event, do you? I pleaded with everyone to cancel since you couldn't make it. You should be honored that they all agreed!

It was a brilliant call to cancel the dyno event for today. The roads in north Raleigh still have ice and tons of salt on them.
