    ACR Dynamic suspention setings/tuning?

I have just sent out my Dynamic Suspension to be rebuilt. I am wondering is there anyone that has set them up or tuned them before that has notes or insight on how to adjust them. Does anyone have a certain setting they like to run adjusting the dampening and rebound points? Im not sure If anyone has tampered with mine as well so if no one has a setting they like to run im trying to figure out how to put them back to factory settings. Any info would be helpful. Thanks

I had one just like yours.

They came from the factory on FULL SOFT, with mylar tape on them to reveal any adjusting.

If you make the MISTAKE of leaving the OE rear springs in there, they wont even BE adjustable. The G2 DSI ACR rear rate is so overly-stiff that it overpowers the valving. Buckboard stiff. Whosoever you have doing the rebuild, please re-spring the rears.

Or contact PartsRack for a respring if they are unaware. JonB@PartsRack.com

I replaced my OE springs with the ones Jon provided. It is definitely an excellent upgrade and pretty inexpensive. (Well, that was 8 years ago money.)

I had everything on my 99 ACR replaced brand new about 2 years ago under my extended maxicare dodge warranty(6months before it expired) I was lucky as the total cost was 13k, I paid $100.
I don't know what they set them at but the ride is very harsh, I don't know of they need to be broke in as I have only put around 300 miles on the car since them, but I must tell you to make sure its on its most soft settings.

I'm selling my car so I'm not going to mess with it, I'll let the new owner set them where they want them.

Dave, et al: The Year Matters............ the OP here is concerned with DSI coilovers on his 2001 ACR. Dave, you have/had 1999-2000.5 OE ACR KONI coil-overs, commonly called 'rattlers' due to their noisy nature when unloading.

Too many complaints about the KONI RATTLE forced Dodge to make a running design change mid-year in MY 2000 to the leaky, oversprung DSIs. I believe it was one of the very few 'mistakes' that Team Viper ever made, and it was caused by customer feedback about noise! It also came on the sensitive heels of a the infamous "Neutral Gear Rattle" complaints on 96.5-97 G2 tranny, being 'rattled' by ATF fluid and that lumpy 708 cam !!!! Be glad you have the KONIs...the rattle can be fixed in 5 minutes with 2 ZIP TIES!
