    TA sway bars

    i want to put a set on my GTS to go with the TA alignment. Anyone know where i can the part numbers for the front and rear? i've called a couple of dealers and they both said the sway bars on the TA are the same as my GTS. from what i've read the TA sway bars are stiffer and heavier, offering more support so i'm sure they are different. if no one knows the part numbers any TA owners willing to give the last 8 of your vin so i can order off that?

    Yes, they are solid sway bars on the TA 2.0 at least versus hollow on everything else. Sorry, can't help with the part number.

    Go to E-bay and find a TA and use the vin from that car.

    Mark--i hate to question you because i know you are a pro when it comes to the viper but are you sure these are the part numbers for the TA sway bars? The reason i ask is that these are the same part numbers tagged on the sway bars on my GTS. i also looked them up on line and they show for a GTS. would you mind double checking?
    thanks,
    kris

    I looked them up off of a customers TA VIN so they should be right if the system is right, I'll do some digging though.

    No need Kris they are all the same no matter what VIN I used, I will contact someone and see if they can be tracked down I thought I had written them down at one point.

    I have all the numbers off the bars and the numbers from SRT, the only numbers that show up anywhere in the system as "real" are the numbers above so the "system is down" lol.

    Ok I know that the rear bar is the same one that was used on the 2010 ACR so cross checking that VIN and finding the bar I see that the in date is 10' and also 15' as listed, when I look up the front bar it also has a dual number that is listed 03'-10 and then 15'...

    I find it odd that the first numbers I have show up as superseded parts that cover many years, but these part numbers are older and do not supersede to anything...

    These are the bars for the 10' ACR;

    Front 5181444aa $495 retail
    Rear 5181438aa $149 retail

    I will still need to ask someone, but most of the time they know the part number on the car like I have and not the replacement number as if you were ordering one. All very confusing, but what's new LOL.

    BTW I'm never to good to be questioned ha-ha, that's how we learn.

    That's a pretty big disparity between the price of the front and rear bars. Definitely good info...

    I had marked these down from a previous thread.

    Front bar (P) 5181443AC
    Rear bar (P) 5181437AC

    Who knows if those are even relevant anymore.

    Nothing comes up as a real part with those numbers unfortunately...

    the part number on the bar on the car is not the number for the part when ordering the part. The part on the car is a production part number only.

    Should work since they list those numbers thru 15' but I have a call in to try and insure it so I'll let you know when I know. ;-)

    Nope, all the guys know are the factory installed numbers like I have so Mopar would be the ones to tell me and I have no contacts there that will respond.

    KB,

    We are also working on compiling a list of the solid (OEM profile) sway bar part numbers. The list will include Gen 3, Gen 4, Gen V and Comp Coupe Bars.

    We are about 75% complete.

    These are the correct part numbers, but Mopar does not have them listed correctly at this time. I have a change request into them to look at the issue.

    TA bars;

    F 05181443AC
    R 05181437AC

    I'll check with them, the process was going to be updated with the numbers, but sometimes the chain it goes through takes a little time.
