Looking for a one off splitter

Who around can build a one off splitter for me?

Looking for something similar to what you see on the acr proto type. Or even like what weapon x builds for the new vettes.

    Thanks

weapon x emailed me this morning. They said they will make on if they had a few people interested.

Would anyone else want an acr style front splitter?

Not to throw a bucket of cold water on this idea but if you add an ACR type splitter to the front you will need to add rear down force as well or the car will be seriously unbalanced. Of course if you added both front and rear down force then you also need to up the spring rates or you will flatten the car like a pancake. Aero is a real science. SRT spent hours and hours in a wind tunnel getting the Gen 4 ACR aero right. Subtle changes in the wing or splitter can materially effect the car. Notice the very minor appearing changes in the 2010 wing? While minor looking they still had an effect on down force. Notice the vents in the fenders of the Gen 5 ACR concept, this is also about managing down force.

There was always this thread, where we discussed the merits of front aero and ballast.

On a street car it isn't an issue. I have seen 180 several times on mile events with just front splitter. Also many hours on track with or without a wing. With and without upgraded springs. The track extension minus wing will make the back feel a bit squirrely but with just the lip you're fine.

If you're a hardcore track addict racer (I'm sure most people are right?) Then yes you'll want both. If you're driving your car on the street toss what ever splitter on there you want. You'll never notice it handling any different.

A good amount of us are street car guys. As we know an oem designed item may be better for super high speed runs. This isn't to say you can't run oem rear spoiler with this splitter.

The oem splitter just doesn't appeal to me. A nice
Full one will compliment the car we'll.

Look at the Comp Coup splitters. Nomex honeycomb with carbon overlays. The Gen 1 Comp Coupe (VRL cars) have Gen3/4 front fascia. They work great... I have 2 on my 2 Vipers. They weigh about 6 1/2 lbs each and are full size.

If not for anything else, you could use it for a snow plow in the winter.

If weapon x was building a front splitter I would have interest. I was planning to buy the Xtreme supercars oem style splitters. Did the guys at weapon X give you a timeline on building this splitter is there is enough interest ?
