So this is for real, not a 'mistake' from allpar?
Can't wait for details if it is, I know a lot of folks are going to be lining up who have been waiting.
Look forward to seeing it at "The Woodward Dream Cruise !"![]()
And the point of the TA 2 now is........????![]()
The TA 2 is being marketed as a track car obviously, with the wing, canards and the other minor updates.
If this ACR is confirmed by Dodge as true, who would order a TA 2 (for the track) with an ACR looming the very next year.
I'll never understand the marketing. It's like ordering a Gen IV with aero when you can have an ACR.

I am not sure I would compare the 2.0 to the old aero coupe. The aero coupe was just a wing on a Viper as far as I know without any suspension goodies, etc. The TA and 2.0 TA are almost as good I hear as a Gen 4 ACR. I had a Gen 4 ACR and it was a bit much on the street due to the DOT pilot sport cups. At this point in my life, I would rather have a TA or TA 2.0. I think if an ACR does come out, it will be more of a take no prisoners machine than the GEN 4 and that will be perfect for track rats.
How much does a loaded 2.0 cost? Just curious
I'm not sure if anyone also heard that loud boom but the word is the Corvette Forum just self-imploded and the only remains are some ZO6 parts that are strewn over a very large wasteland. The word on the street is that news of a new ACR caused this collapse, supposedly the members are now realizing they will never own most of the track records that the Viper does.
Great news!!!
