Nice car, but you know what, I will be seeing loads of these in my capital city London, but you will only ever see one Viper (probably mine) its good to stand out from the crowd

Same here. There are more 458s around here than Vipers (at least Gen 5s). However, the 458 is an AMAZING car already, so this new one is rather awesome.

The car does look good, but my question is did Ferrari copy the Acura NSX.

Won't all the onew you see in London have Saudi Plates? And do they still Clamp (we call it a boot here) the wheels of the sons of the owner of Herrod's or do they just let them do whatever the damn hell they please?

I think it is very sexy. The 458 and the f430 are the only ferraris to really rev my motor since the 90s. Probably the f430 more so but obviously that's just personal opinion. But this one is puuuuuurdy.

    Why....because its Red ??

    Not even close.

The NSX looks like a refreshed R8. Its nice in my opinion but the Ferrari is Sex on Wheels

What? The NSX is meh at best. It's more like Acura copied the year 2010. Nobody would want to copy anything off the ugly Acura. If anything, both Ferrari and Ford copied the rear end and tail-lights of the Nissan Vision 2020.

Will not be that light weight. Per Ferrari, 3014 lbs dry with "lightweight options".

Expect it to be around 3300 plus lbs wet in USA trim. A Gen 5 SRT may actually come in lighter.

    But, it does look epic.

The 458 was pretty much entry level for the Saudi guys, they love the Lambos and high end AMG mercs too, not forgetting the Mclarens. local residents and police are getting fed up with the yearly antics and yes Tow trucks, Wheel clamps are always operating in the Kensington, Knightsbridge area of London and around Harrods.

I think it could be green and the similarities would exist.

There are definitely similarities between them just like there are similarities between all the 70s wedge shaped supercars. They're all somewhat different but from far away they look the same.

There is a big difference between cars having similar features and saying that someone has copied a design

No question that designs are somewhat trendy as it's easy to tell (in most cases) in what era specific super cars where made.

However, I have a very hard time thinking that at any point there was a Ferrari designer looking at a Japanese design and deciding to copy that. Ferrari has never been known the be a follower but rather a leader and if anything, other manufacturers may look at the Ferrari's and take some styling points from them

What also has to be considered is that these designs are usually evolving over years. You are not going to have a car close to production all of a sudden change its looks. The tooling for this car was made a long time ago and its not going to change overnight.

A design could maybe be copied over years but to suggest that something was copied that was released essentially at the same time is pretty far fetched
