My new 2015 Comp Blue Viper

Well after a short break from the Vipers ive pulled the trigger on another. I switched out of my 13 Viper for an 08 Superleggera about 6 months ago. Which was a great car, but not the fun drivers car i was used to. Bernie at the Viper exchange got me situated in the 2015 Comp blue car. I will keep this thread updated with progress pictures.

Here's a quick break down for what is to come.

The car is currently having the roof and tail light panel wrapped gloss black
Gloss black powder coated oem wheels
    Matching blue powder coated calipers
Clarity auto detail in Houston will do a full paint correction with Cquartz coating and an Xpel clear bra
Smoked tail lights and marker lights
    MCS Coilovers
Mild wheel spacers to help the oem offset
    American Racing headers without cats
    and lastly a tune.

The car will be bouncing from shop to shop til I get this all completed. Il add photos as each phases are complete.

The 08 Superleggera I just got rid of.

The Viper the day I picked it up from Dodge

And a cool shot while I was having all 4 windows tinted

The wrap was completed by Pixel werks in Houston yesterday. Really helps break the blue up.

Dude! Can't go wrong there. That color is ridiculous. Good trade.
I just made the same basic trade as well.
My Gallardo I traded for my GTS. One thing I noticed is definitely less people taking pictures and video taping. In that blue you might not be able to say that though .

    Congrats

I think the 2015 is much better put together than the 2013 I had. It just feels a big tighter and without a doubt the fit and finish is improved.

Though, unsure of the photograph thing - people that annoy me most are the ones that sit behind you filming. PAY ATTENTION AND DRIVE!!!

A local shop is going to wrap them In a transparent smoke vinyl so it's reversible

Not to derail the thread, but what didn't you like about the Lambo?

    Nice choice !

Seeing these threads has really got my cabin fever going. Weather and roads have been so crappy here, my Viper hasn't been out of the garage in over 5 weeks!

That must have been an interesting negotiation as the deal is upside down trading in a more expensive car for a cheaper car.
Did you attempt to sell the SL privately?

Sick color! I'm curious to hear your opinion on how those MCS coilovers ride on the Gen V. Try and get some seat time in on the stockers so you can tell us how good the MCS's are.
