    Recall and TSB

Took the car to the dealership yesterday for a rattle in my driver door panel. Whenever I play the radio with any real volume, something inside the panel makes all kinds of noise. While there, I found out that some seat track sensor was under a recall, but also that there was a TSB for the rattle in the door. So if your driver door panel is making noise, go get it fixed.

There's another recall we just found out - both our '13 GTS and '14 Medusa's doors wouldn't lock even when you pushed the button on the fob and it chirped!

I believe if you have the key in hand, pocket, or purse you can Unlock a Locked door just by pushing the handle to open, without pushing fob. as long as its close enough for car to detect. but someone without the fob can not open door. Maybe someone else can confirm.

Try locking the doors then put fob far away and see if you can get in car or if the doors stay locked.

^^YEs, that's called proximity unlock and I believe there is a way to turn it on and off in the DIC...
