So how long did you stay in the garage with it affter I left? They are hard to walk away from.

    Congratulations ! Looks awesome.

Surprised that the Dodge/SRT marketing never targeted 911 GT3 owners. The new model dropped the manual trans and everyone was complaining like no tomorrow, yet the Viper TA would be a great alternative.

The Black TA keeps calling my name... trying to hold out for a Gen V ACR though.

I'm not going to answer because it's embarrassing, but let's just say my wife came out while I was sitting in the driveway idling and said, if I kept sitting there I was going to run out of gas, lol. So fun to be this giddy about a car.

Thanks all .. these cars can just sell themselves if given half a chance. And my wife is blown away, it's a total family win!

I am so glad to hear you received your car and it exceeded your expectations. I figured someone would appreciate that deal I was given and I don't think it could have gone to someone better.

Still haven't driven mine yet but I go out in the garage and fiddle with it all the time.

Congrats on the car. 4 days and counting for me and like you I will get it to my shop and it will sit for at least another 6-8 weeks.

    love the black on black

    Saw your baby at Session's

I live close to Tom and saw your new baby - very impressive. Of course Tom's expert treatment only made it better. Congrats on the new ride and come visit us at the beach sometime.

I know how you feel. I just got done with a 2 hour cruise. The car is absolutely my solitude as I think about nothing when I'm in it. Should have purchased one years ago. I may have been able to forego the blood pressure medicine.

I posted in the Hibernation thread about how I took mine out today as well, after sitting for 6 weeks. Cold temps and crappy roads no withstanding, it was totally worth the hour I spent with the waterless wash in my cold garage afterward cleaning her up. These cars are an experience like no other. I only have 400 miles on mine since getting her in October, just when the weather was starting to turn, so I don' really know what she can really do yet!

I'm a little more fortunate in the weather department. I got mine the day after Thanksgiving and have put 1800 miles on her. I remember saying that I expected to put around 3000 miles a year on it. I will end up shattering that estimate.

It is a lot more livable / daily drivable than one expects.

I just look for any excuse to get out in mine.

Totaly agree, drove mine 500 miles last week on work appointments, traffic, some not so perfect roads, no issues at all.
A/C works really good as well, it was 78 degrees!
