He did poke fun at me for buying my Gen V intake manifold from someone else instead of him, all in laughs of course. He wasn't offended, I didn't know any better, and if I have a headache, JonB gets the first call and is always more than glad to help.

Thumbs up for being a stand-up guy. He's a good rolemodel for fantastic customer service.
THANKS to several of you for the kind words, but I confess I am a happy customer of Dan Lesser on occasion, and have always had good, prompt service and found him an accessible guy. [But I do remember when Dan was a green newbee !]

How did a thread about RSI turn into this? I believe this was a rant about less than stellar service from an RSI customer that was far from satisfied with the product he received. Then it turned into a bitch session about internet semantics that had nothing to do with any sort of business transactions.

Since this is where it went, JonB was great to deal with, Dan Lesser seems like a no nonsense guy that doesn't suffer fools well, Vipair is a serious black eye to the Viper world and Al Gore is responsible for global warming. Stella should have never got her money from McDonalds and Lance Romance needs to be referenced more often in threads.

Now that's hijacked for no reason.

Interesting. Only a few months ago he was trying to buy an OEM GTSR GenII front splitter from a local that still has it in a Mopar box unused. He wanted to buy it and start making copies of it.

I think it makes enforcing a judgement one hell of a lot harder. Not that you were going to get a whole lot of blood from that turnip anyway.

Autoform should buy his foreclosed factory, err, house he called a factory, and have a distribution center on the west coast. Also just to piss him off.

Start making copies. They would be finished around 2020. A customer would receive one of them around 2022. All others will have donated to his legal fund. Hmmm, tax time is coming up. Can any money you sent to Vipair be written off as a charitable donation?

SP is the initials of the person who owned Vipair. Search some threads about the company and you will figure out what they stand for pretty quickly.

That's kind of like starting out as a Great White trainer and yelling back to the Shore, " Hey, by the way, do these bite?"

Apparently Will is peddling his warez on another site with many happy customers.

  14. #64
And it seems the VCA is supporting will and the timing of this thread http://forums.viperclub.org/threads/672223-Banned-Users then a day later followed by this thread and the defense of Will by the person who started the first thread, the writing is clearly on the wall whats going on over there.. http://forums.viperclub.org/threads/...in-Turbo-Viper

Thats why I ignore the emails to join the VCA despite all the offers on tires and added features on the forums..I belonged to a car club in the past, and watching grown men who were doctors, lawyers and professionals, within the club backstab and act like little kids over stuff was pathetic...Im more of a loaner, I do thing you wouldnt understand, things you couldnt understand...Things you SHOULDNT understand.....

THE EMS system was simple once the old setup was removed.

It was finding the shotty work and repairing/correcting the design that took the time.

D3 went over the entire car looking for any other gremlins that could haunt us later on. As referenced in another thread; the clutch that was included in the RSI package was a joke; BBG took care of us but required time to build, ship, install, etc.

I've past the 20k mark with this revision and D3 has been nothing but awesome with the work and reasonable prices...... but hey; all the issues listed within the blog....are 100% resolved.

You spent another 20K fixing the problems?

Keep in mind; we switched over to a ProEFI EMS; along with a custom harness built in house.

Can you say what you paid for the previous install? Just trying to get a sense of the dollars gone....

I think the idea is that you had to spend an extra nickel. The 20k you spent sounds like they did a good job and money well spent, but you shouldn't have had to do that. I think that's the part that people get hung up on. It's clear the problems weren't gonna get fixed so unless you wanted a real pretty paper weight, you were forced to drop a bunch more cash and that sucks. I can't understand who would allow them to even look at their car anymore. I mean actually even look at their car. Not "take a look at it" but even gaze upon it as it drives by.

At least it's behind you now. You won't have to interrupt any more of their barbecues.

Exactly right; pay to fix or deal with a busted ass project that is useless.

Next time just hand me half of the 48K and Ill give you just the reach around...(and it never happened..) On a more serious note, Who did your Pro-EFI install? I hear the Pro EFI is a nice unit.
