Those stripes haven't gotten any more appealing from the SEMA show.
My favorite kind of racing stripes that I wish they offered:

I agree with Zybane . The new stripes just don't get me excited!
Terrible. There they go again building things no one wants.
Way too far apart...
Those aren't going into prodution afaik
Mine too, but I think they're going to make us buy the next ACR to get it. Probably a smart move on their part!
I've been awfully tempted to put a driver's stripe on my black TA but it really is an ACR thing, and I thought the orange might not be what I would like. My preferred red on black wouldn't work with the orange accents, so I might have to buy an ACR to get it right...damn![]()
not feeling those stripes at all
THE IGNORE FEATURE WORKS, TRY IT...
Terrible. A lot of Jeep guys have been doing this to the 12+ SRTs. Looks awful
Was the painter's wife pregnant and go into labor mid-stripe?
If they were going for the unfinished/incomplete look, they nailed it.
Kill it!!!
My LE is my first car ever with stripes (NEVER been a stripe guy) absolutely LOVE my LE. Those on the 15 GT are probably the worst stripes I have ever seen, and the reason I was never a "stripe" guy. I was telling my brother inlaw this morning that the stripes on my LE scream you want to race![]()
I think that would look cool if you could get it done right. You could probably try vinyl first to see if you like the look and then have it painted. I have had those same thoughts, but have 2 concerns, getting it done correctly and wondering if it will diminish the value of a numbered TA. Decisions decisions...
Terrible.
I don't like that large space between....
Those might be the worst stripes I've ever seen!
I don't think good, professionally done vinyl is "cheaping out." I think it will look great and isn't much thicker than paint. A good shop can bury the painted stripe for you and make it totally level but that is along the lines of 12 grand (Eeek!) I wouldn't consider it removable though. As a test to see if you want it painted, sure it is. But if you leave it on there for years and think it can just be removed and taken back to stock you could be in for a shock. Even if you don't have a ton of miles on it, you will probably notice some UV fade and other slight wear that shows perfectly where the stripe was but as a negative.
Obviously this is way more of an issue out here in Arizona in terms of UV. But I don't think of vinyl stripe as totally removable with no trace of its existence.
