The voice overs pretty bad, not gonna lie. And there's no v10 sound clips - sounded like a v8
That was terrible.
Some of the video was pretty interesting - the voiceover writing is a bit over dramatic for my taste. Still - cool that this sort of thing is being produced. Clearly took a lot of time.
any time i get chills from a video, i call it a WINNER

Great Vid!
I'm not sure what "wine country" video you're referring to. IMO, the video production is good and the Viper in it looks good, but the video itself isn't that good (unless you like stuff like a guy in a race suit walking in slow motion and seeing another at a computer). The voice over and the repeated fake V8 (or whatever that was) sound track over and over ruins it. Could have been so much better.
Love the video, I've watched it multiple times. Makes me want another Viper
I saw it the other day. I liked the video for the most part. The narrator was laying it on a little thick at times but it didn't bother me that much. I am glad that there are videos coming out like this to help keep the Viper name in people's minds. Seems like there has been lots of Viper press lately and it's great to know Dodge is promoting the car.
All in all I enjoyed the video and it makes me want to take the car out for a rip. Come on spring!!!!!!
Thought it was the best Viper advertisement in years....DNA was interesting as shown at 3:30...Street Name!!!!!
I love this.
"Film critic" reviews mean nothing to me. I'm here for the "viper" content… and I love it!
Hmmm.... link removed I guess. I wonder what it was?
edit: OK, I found it. Cool video. I'd love to have that guy's job that tests them on the dyno. Can you imagine doing that all day.

I Thought it was great
I'm happy they did the video, and there are definitely some good things about it - it gets you excited about that car for one. But I want to hear the v10...and I don't like the 80s action movie voice over.. I guess when it comes to my favorite car I'm more critical and I expect basic things like the engine sounds to be done right.
Probably the best viper video I've ever seen.
The voiceover is a bit annoying, but awesome to see the work that goes into making one of these beautiful cars. Makes me want to go out and buy a Gen V.
I'd love to see a similar video for the Gen II. "The interior, inspired by race cars, crafted with 3 different types of economically engineered synthetic polymers" aka cheap, easily scratched piss-poor fitting plastic. Lol
Also find it incredible that with the increase in quality of materials and manufacturing, that the price of the Gen V (after the 15k reduction) is in line with the Gen I when adjusted for inflation.

Everytime one of these videos surface about the building of our car I remind folks that Ultimate Factories (National Geographic) did a special on the car for the GEN IV which can be purchased.
