As some of you know, I started looking for an ACR a few weeks back. I really felt like I wanted to own what I think may be the last of a breed. Not just in the Viper world but in the automotive world as a whole. With all the restrictions and requirements on current cars and what will most likely be even more over the next several years, the GenIV ACR's will most definitely never fade away but rather stand out as the legends they truly are.
I have a modified 06 but I have read so many positive threads about the IV's that I really wanted to experience one. No....I have never driven a IV.....only seen one ACR in person and it was in a poorly lit garage, so this was very much a jump into something unknown. Fact is , that's how I bought my 06 as well. Just based on a few pictures but that's all it took.
Some will think I am out of my mind considering I could have just bought a GenV but they don't do much for me design wise.
Anyway....it doesn't matter because today I bought an ACR...........and I am pretty damn exited.
Car will not be at my house until after New Years. I just don't have time to mess with it and its going right into storage anyway. There she will sit for a few months until the roads are clear enough to take her out.
I know....'this thread is useless without pictures' but you will have to wait....just like I have to.
The car is a 1 of 1. So many are so its not really that unusual but I really like the idea anyway.
I am new on this forum but some of you that have read my posts on the 'other' forum know that I am a low mileage freak. This one was perfect for me. It has 14 miles on it!!!
You got that right.....14.
I intend to double...maybe even triple that this summer. .......Just kidding, I will put some very exciting miles on it for sure.
Matt
