    Early Christmas in Colorado

As some of you know, I started looking for an ACR a few weeks back. I really felt like I wanted to own what I think may be the last of a breed. Not just in the Viper world but in the automotive world as a whole. With all the restrictions and requirements on current cars and what will most likely be even more over the next several years, the GenIV ACR's will most definitely never fade away but rather stand out as the legends they truly are.

I have a modified 06 but I have read so many positive threads about the IV's that I really wanted to experience one. No....I have never driven a IV.....only seen one ACR in person and it was in a poorly lit garage, so this was very much a jump into something unknown. Fact is , that's how I bought my 06 as well. Just based on a few pictures but that's all it took.

Some will think I am out of my mind considering I could have just bought a GenV but they don't do much for me design wise.

Anyway....it doesn't matter because today I bought an ACR...........and I am pretty damn exited.

Car will not be at my house until after New Years. I just don't have time to mess with it and its going right into storage anyway. There she will sit for a few months until the roads are clear enough to take her out.

I know....'this thread is useless without pictures' but you will have to wait....just like I have to.

The car is a 1 of 1. So many are so its not really that unusual but I really like the idea anyway.

I am new on this forum but some of you that have read my posts on the 'other' forum know that I am a low mileage freak. This one was perfect for me. It has 14 miles on it!!!

    You got that right.....14.

I intend to double...maybe even triple that this summer. .......Just kidding, I will put some very exciting miles on it for sure.

At least give us some information on it until we can drool at the pictures. Color combo, extras, year, etc,....

    Fair enough,

    2010 ACR
    Toxic Orange with Graphite stripes
1 of 1 ACR in that color combo (I believe there was only one more car made in that combo and it was a vert)
Navigation (so you don't get lost on the race course I guess).
As mentioned, 14 miles. Car was ran and moved every so often. Hopefully no bad flat spots on those soft tires

I really like the Toxic Orange. The Copper effect in the sun is awesome. Well, I haven't seen a Viper yet in the Toxic (just pics) but I have seen some other Chrysler products in the same color and its spectacular. I also think this was the only year this color was offered on the Viper. The Graphite stripes I like since its less of a contrast than Black or White

I will be doing some mods like exhaust, most likely wheels, PCM and what ever else will make sense. First things first....needs to come home.

As soon as I have some pics...I will post.

I figured a few on here would know this car since its been available for awhile. Cant imagine there are to many new ones left now and who knows, any dealer sitting on one may just mothball it and wait for some future Barrett Jackson auction to get top $ out of it.

I have yet to see a SSG in person (hey....I live in the middle of nowhere) and I am not sure I want to since that will probably just cost me more money !!!

    I think you are right.

Wonder if whoever has # 083 is willing to give it up ?

May have to do a search to find this person. Unfortunately I dont have a sub 100 number to trade with

Contact, Maurice. I don't think they sold number 083. I believe the sub 100 numbers stated at 085-099.

Love that car!! If I didn't have mine that is the one I would have gone after. A very sweet combo and very surprised it sat for so long.

Thanks. I am a bit surprised that it lasted. When I got on Baxter's site, they didn't even have pictures of it. Just a stock photo of a red coupe. They sent me some pics and that was it......knew I found my ACR. The Toxic Orange is amazing in the sun.

I am planning on 3.55's in the spring and a few other goodies to make it just right.

Congrats. I bought my ACR from the same dealer. Also 1 of 1.

Just a thought, but remember your 2010 has the improved 5th gear trans ratio. I personally would not like 3:55 with the 2010 gearing. I had the improved gearing (5th & 6th) with the stock 3.07 and it was perfect.

Ya. I watched mine and yours sit at Baxter for years wondering why they didn't sell.

Congrats. Gorgeous car. I am in the same boat as you. Just bought a 2010 Voodoo ACR. Havent seen it yet. Will have to store it for a few months before I can drive it. Mine also has full Belanger on it and my last Viper was a limited build. I had # 10 of 50 VCA edition. My Voodoo is #10 of 31. Lol.

Your the one that pointed me in the direction of the car. May never have found it if it wasn't for that lead....so I owe you one !!!

I will definitely take this in consideration. When I finally get this on the road this spring I will get some miles on it and see how it feels. Most of the tight, twisty mountain roads in my area don't really allow you to get up the taller gears anyway, so I am looking for the best performance down low.
