That could have turned out a lot worse. And dang, that BMW really caught some air!

What a moron! Blackhawk Museum put out a statement following the posting of the video stating they have told the local law enforcement they want a zero tolerance policy for this type of behavior (like law enforcement doesn't already) as well as for engine revving. Apparently there are 4 difference law enforcement agencies with that area as part of their jurisdiction. I missed out on attending this event but heard there were over 600 cars in attendance!

On a brighter note cars and coffee events are really taking off in the greater SF Bay Area: this event at Blackhawk every month, 100 Octane puts on a great event in San Jose and Menlo Park, and Cafe SpA puts on an incredible event in SF.

Last Saturday's Cafe SpA event at Pier 32 was... epic. Check out the drone video below.

So when you're exiting one of these things, it's like you're a frickin' Kardashian or something. People all over, everyone with a camera rolling. Some people feel like they gotta show off, I guess. Personally, I just assume there's a cop standing somewhere ahead in the crowd, ready to write you up.

I know: La Ferrari, P1, 918, and Huayra. So many 458 Speciales that they weren't really so speciale.

Conversely, a Plymouth Volare sedan ('76?) cruised in later, proving itself to be much more rare than all those italians

Yeah, he had some bizarre excuses about the crash afterwards, though. At one point he states that a contributing factor to the crash is that one of his rear tires had 1.5 psi less in it than the other side.

Blackhawk just released another statement stating they received a phone call from the Danville Chief of Police asking them what they plan to do to prevent this kind of behavior in the future and that the police have reviewed video from the last 6 months and will be contacting owners of vehicles who were leaving the event recklessly. Blackhawk said over the next week or so they will be deciding their course of action which may include cancelling the event.

These idiots all across the country are causing Coffee and Cars to be axed. We have a huge one here in Houston that is currently on hiatus trying to find yet another location.
