Removing the cats reduces the heat greatly. Also, u don't have to worry about anything happening to the paint in the sills. Paints nowadays are pretty durable and can stand a lot of heat.
Cats are off. Find out tomorrow what the results are...
Factory tune kept for now. Cats are gone. Spark plug non-foulers in the rear o2 spot. No nasty smell in the cabin or out back for that matter. A little more exhaust fumes out the back but doesn't have an odor or anything. Nothing driving or idling. I think some are having problems with aftermarket tunes or caned tunes. Must be dumping more fuel for mods I can only figure with the flaps stuck open....who knows???
It sounds very, very, good!!!!

glad to hear it
THE IGNORE FEATURE WORKS, TRY IT...
Can you record a quick video please?
No, that is what the spark plug non-foulers are for. By the way I had headers and full dual exhaust installed on my 2011 Ram and kept getting check engine light even with keeping the cats. Installed the non-foulers in the rear o2 sensors and no more check engine light. Cool tip I got from TTTed.
Here's your video Sybil: (wouldn't hurt to rotate your phone next time haha)
Sounds very mean, just ordered my non foulers!!![]()
thats how a viper should sound IMO...

So far so good! No smell. Finally got my Xenon light kit installed. Next mod is the T/D RR's, crank shaft pin and then a dyno tune...
My cat back looks a little dingy, can it be cleaned up and coated or do I need a new one?
