Yep, that caught my eye as well. It truly is a driver's car like no other. I scratch my head why some in the automotive press aren't enamored by the Viper. Maybe Motor Trend doesn't like it because of the advertising dollars. I glanced through the last MT issue, there were like 8 ads for various GM cars and trucks, including the C7 Corvette. Some were pricey, multi-page pullout ads. I don't think there was a single ad for a Chrysler product. And in all honesty, SRT did shoot themselves in the foot by sending that piece of crap test mule of a Viper that had numerous issues. You don't hear of such nonsense from us happy Gen V owners, why would they send a car like that to the press? Water under the bridge, I think they've learned their lesson and are clearly doing better with the TA launch.

The Viper is so damned fast, so damned good on the track, so damned exciting to drive. It pegs the fun meter. How is that NOT one of the best driver's cars???
