Events 2013/14

Crossroads of America,

We are just getting started but have a lot of ideas for next year. Our only scheduled event for 2013 is:


Dec 8th 2013 The new Association is gathering at Parkers Smokehouse in Ashland NE, just west of Omaha on Hiway 6. The event starts at noon and is in the banquet room. Parkers is on the West end of Ashland at the Hiway 6 and Hiway 63 junction north of Interstate 80.

We definitely need to put down the 5th Annual Viper Rendezvous at Motorsports Park Hastings , with three days of autocrossing, drags, track time,instruction, partying and more. We had 35 Vipers last year from all over the Country and just think how big it could become next year if this becomes a VOA Event also?! We have always gotten alot of drivers from the St. Louis Area and from Colorado, but with all the new members of the Crossroad's Association, no reason we could not see 50+ Vipers in the middle of the US of A.

It is on the schedule , already , at MPH ( www.racemph.com ) , but what a great way for a Crossroads member event to become more of a Regional/National Event.

We are planning a get-together to celebrate our new club "CROSSROADS OF AMERICA"
with the VOA.

Keith and Heidi Lodhia have offered to host this event at their home in Omaha on Sunday, February 16, 2014 @2:00PM.
They will provide the main course and then, everyone can bring appetizers,
chips, salads, desserts, etc. We will BYOB (beer, pop, water, etc.)

We will need to have a head count and what you would like to bring. Please RSVP
to me by Tuesday, February 11, 2014.
I hope everyone will be able to come. It should be FUN! Look forward to hearing
from you, all!

Our first Club gathering was a great success. How many times can you impress your friends by rattling the windows in ones house by revving up a 2010 ACR with Borla exhaust and Corsa race mufflers. Keith and Heidi were very gracious in hosting the party and Cheryl did a great job of putting together.

Would it be worth the time or even desired to show up at Cars and Coffee once or twice this year as a group? Or would that be frowned upon by the Cars and Coffee crowd? Or do we not care? Anyway, just a thought.

Oh they would not care and even if they did, as you mentioned , would we, ha. Been to a couple and Vipers are welcomed with open arms and actually solicited to come. Imagine if 10-15 showed up-
could start a riot, ha!!!

The list we put together is for actual club related activities. At anytime we can do any event that is more informal. THe HIPO guys and i got the C&C once in a while. Feel free to solicit ideas on events and we can spred the word.
