So if there ends up being a supercharged viper next year, what would you pay, within reason, for it?
My number is 100k for a base srt.

if you use the Hellcat math, I would say closer to the 150k mark depending on the HP numbers.

Price will equal voucher!
My guess/estimate would be a $30k-40k premium from the base car.
I'd be a player at 100k. I don't care about much of the upgrades other than 2 piece rotors, lightweight wheels, and exterior color.
If its going to be in the ACR, then I would say 50K over SRT for sure. If its just an upgrade package I would say 30K. That equating to 84,995+30 base SRT supercharged or 134,995 total for ACR. I don't believe the ACR will be supercharged if Chrysler keeps this car as a track car. That being said, what will they do to up its game if the SRT series Vipers get SC'd? Can't have the SRT with more HP than an ACR. Track car or not. It wouldn't make sense.
I would pay 110K for a base SRT with a supercharger. Patiently waiting for SRT to bring this to market. If SRT doesn't I am hoping the aftermarket will bring fourth a supercharger kit soon. This is the only thing that is keeping me from purchasing a Gen V.
It would make no sense to put an SC on your dedicated track version of the car. Be in the same position as the C7 Z06 going through now.
Me personally, zero interest in adding the weight of the SC and the extra cooling needed to make it work, but I guess for the straight line street crowd, it would be worth it. Seems like a GTS option if anything. I just don't see it happening.
100K and i might be back in a viper
THE IGNORE FEATURE WORKS, TRY IT...
with the new ford gt coming I don't think a sc viper will keep my attention
Would pay 100K for a base car.. The blower should cost less than 10K
^^^what he said^^^X2.... blowers are usually about $6-8k. Where are the 150k numbers coming from??? Dodge has already proven that will not work for the Viper period![]()

Just want to see it come to a reality!!!! Such a wonderful thought....
Zero interest in FI version
As a factory option that is Engineered , I would pay 20k to 25k for the option . That is factoring in the R & D , and hopefully new technology .
So from the feedback so far
Wishful thinkers like me say 100k which I think would really move sales
Realists say 110-115
Others say 130k plus
I think that a 15-20 k premium from the 85k base for a sc is decent enough for dodge to invest in as well as decent enough to move cars
Just my thoughts so far
Honestly, I rather see the aftermarket purse any and all FI options and Dodge to squeeze more performance out of the NA V10

My hellsnake will be 120-15k certificate = 105k.![]()
There will be more to the car than just throwing a supercharger on the exisiting platform and added HP. Frame will need strengthening, better brakes, clearance under the hood and upgraded tranny. will have to pay to play.

If you use the Hellcat for reference, all the same sort of upgrades would need to be done to that over the base SRT. And the price increase is about 15k over a regular SRT. Might be a Viper tax if they do a S/C on it, so 20k upcharge?
