Gosh with all this winning I am afraid to tarnish the brand with a race that I will surely lose lol. Vengeance Racing contacted me to do some rolls races with their 660whp bolt-on/tuned C7Z. Of course my car is bone stock, but I am down to run pretty much anything if I think I can stay within a bus length. I know Vengeance has parts and sales at risk so it can be assumed that they won't be leaving anything on the table. Sorry in advance Viper brethren.

Why even bother lining up against a modified car? Especially when you know they have motives to market Corvette parts? Same thing a local shop asked me, they wanted to line up their modified C7Z against my stock TA. I told them I would line up my modified '06 Viper against their modified C7Z. No response.

Very nice driving!!! Congrats man. You are making the Viper nation proud with these real world runs instead of the bullshit internet forum posts.

If vette guys say the viper is so ugly, they must think the vette is also ugly. I've had more vette guys than I can count tell me my vette looks amazing, even with my top down I had a guy pull up at a gas station in his vette and ask me how I liked my ZR1, wtf? If they're so car ignorant that they can't tell their vette from a viper, then they must think their car is fugly if they say the viper is.

Congrats on the runs (ew, that didn't sound right, lol). Awesome stuff. It'd be so easy for you to mod and wipe up the streets even more, major props to you for holding out and continuing to demonstrate what a stock gen5 can do, Dodge owes you, you're a one man complete replacement of the SRT marketing dept.

I see they are in Georgia, 700 miles away. So tempted to meet them half way and run them. What do you think Tony? I would hate to make the trip and loose.

Vengeance is likely around 650-660 rwhp right now, about 75 rwhp higher than stock. So, you are likely around the same gains in your car too. Might be a similar result, especially after 3-4 back to back runs. Ron @ Vengeance is a good driver, also.

If anyone can beat a bolt-on tuned C7Z, I'd bet on you and your car. Once they start doing internal stuff like a cam, then likely not possible. Bolt-ons and tune vs bolt-ons and tune would be a good race to watch.

60-150 though. We need that 5th gear pull

I hear ya! Hell 660whp will be a challenge, but hopefully the weight of the viper will help out some what. I'm able to hit 150 (exactly) on the top of 4th now taking it to 6800 rpm. 150 should be good enough, I hope. My buddy was going to text them.

That Viper is not stock......It has a driver mod.

Nice runs...Dead even from a roll on that Huracan.

This would be a bad ass race and win or lose it should be close and entertaining for both camps. Even if he does win you can always reply with, " Damn my boost was set to zero again".

Rather not see Viper guys make any excuses. LOL

Win is a win, loss is a loss.

Get your catback and re-tune done Andy, then we can line you up with LMR's bolt-on/tuned C7Z.

LMAO! I'm a humble racer. I never give excuses. Shake hands and say good race. I cant stand shit talkers and the drama it brings.

Funny how reality racing videos that cannot be disputed, always become subjective insult discussions. The intelligent people over there even laugh at these guys. At this point, it seems that many current C6Z and ZR1 owners are on the side of the Viper. They also have raised those questions about how well their current cars stack up with the C7Z, and the C7Z guys cannot handle those questions without emploding.

Ah man I bet that is some funny reading material, may have to go troll the vette forums I have the perfect username, not mine but someone he,he,he....

This is their car in its current state: http://youtu.be/blyYrTxfYTQ

I read on corvetteforum that they are still tinkering and 700+whp is right around the corner.

It was a joke, dropping everything off beginning of next week. Getting rid of the junk stock shifter for the MGW piece as well.

I didn't think MGW had a Gen 5 solution for the shifter due to less clearance in the tunnel?

Andy, the MGW is just the knob. Works great, better than the baseball. The shifter itself is actually very nice, from the factory. You just need to learn not to lift the throttle pedal. Ha

Yes I'm aware of that ran one (the knob) on my gen 3.
