Great deal. That being said, you're a stand up guy. Not sure how it works in OH, but here in PA, you only pay sales tax on the difference between trade in and new purchase. Therefore, it would make sense for you to trade it if you are going to sell it privately for the same price.

Thanks guys. I'm a member of Ohio group but live in Michigan. We are one of the six states that doesn't give any credit for trade. I pay the full 6% tax on sales price regardless of trade...

U mmmm. Wouldn't proper form be utilizing the classified section and not even having the thread?

We get the tax credit on trade in my state. Which is good because 7% is bend over dough. But I think it only applies to one trade as a friend traded two cars and only got credit on one.
