    2006 VOI9 Coupe Registry

Welcome to a thread dedicated to the 100 beautiful white/blue coupes that were built in 2006. About a year ago I started a registry of these cars just for fun. If you've got info about them or pictures please share them here!!

Some brief history of the VOI9 Edition
    - 100 built in 2006 individually numbered on the center console
    - #1 was a raffle car
    - 13 cars were picked up by their new owners at VOI9 in Las Vegas. These "Vegas Driveaway" cars have a VOI logo on the B pillar.

There were 2 special packages that were available:

    Prefix Package
    - 16 cars came with a rear wing and splitter installed by Prefix

    Mopar Performance Package
    - 9 cars had this option. Each has a circular mopar logo on the rear bumper between the two stripes
    - Upgrades: Hotter cam, full Bellanger header & exhaust system, competition oil pan with swing arm, special pushrods, special PRV valve, unique valve spring shims, select fit main bearings, high performance oil filter, fuel/spark recalibrated computer.
    - Each engine was pulled and sent to Arrow for the build and then returned.

    That's it for now!

I've found info on about 55 of the cars so far. I've got the list of all the Prefix cars. I think I've found 5 of the cars with the Mopar package and 3 of the Vegas cars. The search continues!

Do you know how many have been totaled. I recall at least two of them but I'd have to do some digging to find their numbers.

I've found 2 so far that have been wrecked. One not so bad, the other was likely totalled. I don't know beyond that.

Have you talked to X2 rebuilders or Don Scharf? I believe X2 has had at least 2 VOI9 cars there as parts donors (totalled).

Sorry Cobracken, missed this post last week. I think I've looked through their website but haven't called them yet.

    Hello, all -

On Saturday, I purchased my first Viper, VOI.9 #80 (VIN 101643), from Roanoke Motors. I have been in contact with "Stretch" on this car because despite the despite the documentation he obtained from Prefix, it obviously does not have the aero stuff on it that it is supposed to. I brought this to John Gastman's attention since they sold the car new, but he was unsure why the car didn't have the wing and splitters. Since the original owner is deceased, Ronald Batt has moved on from Prefix and the original window sticker has been lost to time, this could be a bit of a mystery.

If anyone here can shed any light on the status of the aero add-ons for #80, I would be curious to know. Thanks for any help!

Hopefully we can find some info on the mystery as time goes by.

Regardless of that, congrats on the purchase!! The car looks beautiful!!

Don't know how much this will help, but I can tell you about my experience....which was similar. I have one of the 16 built with the Prefix package (#95). When I bought the car from the original owner, it did not have the wing / splitter attached either. However, the owner had the wing / splitter in unopened boxes from Prefix which came with the car. He had requested that the parts not be installed, but he wanted them for when he sold the car since it was technically suppose to have them. It may be the same situation in your case, but where are the parts?

Well, nuts. John mentioned that as a possibility, but then said he thought the parts would've come assembled on the car from CAAP if it called for it. Some scenario like that is what must've happened, though. No real clue where the stuff might be at this point, but it's worth another question or two back to John to see what he might be able to shake loose on it.

    Thanks for the reply.

Snakeb.....I believe you can get a reprint of the window sticker, if that would help shed some light. Not sure it would mention on there if the Aero wasn't installed but is cool to have that sticker regardless.

...also....beautiful car. The Gen III looks stunning in white

    Thanks for the kind words.

I would definitely be interested in finding out how to get a reprint of the window sticker if someone can point me in the right direction.

Check with Bill Pemberton. He is on this forum and also at Woodhouse Dodge in Nebraska. He may be able to get you some leads

Good luck figuring out the history of your car

Stretch, it may be of interest for your 2006 voi9 coupe registry that #58 (vin 101673) is titled overseas in switzerland since 2011. not my car, no voi9-logo on b-pilar, no details known if it has a prefix or mopar package.

Just found this thread and would like to share my car info. I have car #8 of 100. It was a Vegas picked up car with Mopar Prefix sticker attached to rear bumper panel (installed at Vegas) and Vegas emblems on the pillars behind the doors. It not only has all the engine upgrades, but was one of only 3 cars there that received the H pattern wheels. I have 8x10 photos from Vegas of the cars, original window sticker, custom cover that came with the car and an email from Arrow with the work order number of the engine. Very limited on space in garage and very rarely drive (6300 miles) due to rareness of this car so considering selling, if interested. Will figure out how to post some photos later.

Hey Fastruck25! Welcome to the VOI9 thread and thanks for sharing the info! That has got to be a rare combination to have the Arrow engine upgrades and be a Vegas delivery car, not to mention the H spokes.

If possible, could you share any of the info from the Arrow work order? I have some conflicting information from when the cars were initially released on what exactly was done to them for that package. Just would like to clear that up for the registry.

    Thanks!

Will share more tomorrow night as out of town for work tonight and information is at the house. These cars sure turn heads and wins almost every car show I enter.
