Anyone buy and personally mount and finish the GTS Le Mans fascia/splitter combo?

I would appreciate the thoughts of anyone who personally purchased and finished up the "GTS Le Mans fascia."

Specifically:

1. Raw product fiberglass lay-up quality.
2. Accuracy of edge line up, overall balance of radius' and attachment points.
3. The thoughtful location and design of attachment points.
4. Hardware quality and effectiveness in mounting.
5. Overall structural strength of assembled product.
6. Resulting design effectiveness in noise isolation or creation (rattle/shake/stress)
7. Quality, accuracy (dimensional) and strength of the dual light buckets, marker light buckets, fog lamps.
8. Did you purchase either brakebox, towhook, combo.
9. Any structural issues with the airbox, frame, etc?
10. How complicated and difficult was assembly mounting.
11. Wiring project over view.
12. Finishing issues or observations.

I really appreciate any help on this product in understanding the over all project experience.

I know Redsled has one fitted to his car, might be worth contacting him. How soon do you need the info? Reason I ask is I have been working on these two Autoform 91 cars,





I do not have the experience of actually fitting them but could take some pics next time Im over that way (2 to 3 weeks) If that might help you?

I know in this world of customer reviews, it is important to hear from customers and their experience with a particular product as well as the overall quality of the build and I am perfectly fine with that...that being said, I will gladly go through any and all of the above items if you give me a call sometime. Besides being the guy that designed the look of that product as well as the engineering all of the attachment points including the brake box and tow hook...I have probably personally installed and or project managed the installation by one of my employees..or answered questions on the installation of these more than anyone. The two things I always ask are...was the car in any type of a front end collision?...because that can change everything...is the shop doing the installation a custom type body shop or more of a collision repair shop? The main thing when fitting the front end is that the radiator saddle is installed and shimmed correctly...if it is not...that is when customer/installer will experience a larger gap from the fascia to the hood...this is not only the case on these aftermarket fascias but the stock ones as well (plenty of posts about that) Also, do any necessary trimming (especially around the headlamps) to make sure it is fitting the way you want before you paint it. some of the splitters need to be adjusted by using shims where it attaches to the radiator saddle. I designed this Fascia when we where doing the Viper Challenge Series..it was made so that the splitter could stay attached to the car and the Fascia could easily slide off in the event of an "off track excursion" and the need to clean out the radiator an oil cooler. The Fascia is basically attached via 2 bolts in each wheel well and and held on the bottom by a kind of tongue and groove system. I do recommend adding a couple of other attachment screws on the top lip where the fascia rests on the bumper reinforcement bar on street cars.
