gen 1 glove box latch

While renovating dash/glove box i put the black plastic latch off the glove box up for safe keeping, now cant find it. Does anyone know if this is specific to the gen 1 or is it off another model ie out of the parts bin.

I have not seen that finger-thumb opposing latch on anything else but G1
