Hi CarolinaViper, and welcome to the VOA! You are fortunate to live in such a stunning area of NC...you have short drives for the Tail of the Dragon trip and the Biltmore weekend trip too.

How long have you owned your SRT-10?

This on about two months the one previous only 36hrs - both were 2014 with 13K miles I will try to post the link as not to retype"

Second link really important...I now do all my fluid/brake repairs. Even took my new wheels off the Viper to have the new tires put on instead of leaving the car at my friends shop. Hope the links work.

New member here! My husband, Dugan, and I live in Fuquay and are excited to join the VOA! I inherited my '05 Viper about a year ago from my late brother, Dominic, who was a huge car enthusiast in the Raleigh area and knew quite a few of the people already part of the VOA. We both have a great love of cars and although my knowledge is not as large as my husbands or my brothers was, I am looking forward to expanding Had a great time meeting quite a few of you at Mayhem on Saturday and looking forward to meeting even more of you in the future!

It did C.J. I find myself just standing in the garage admiring it, usually while I'm supposed to be doing something else.

It's a hard habit to break. You will also be making excuses to go out into the garage. I've never been so excited just to fetch a screwdriver from my toolbox.

Great meeting you guys on Saturday. It's awesome meeting new Viper owners in the area. Next weekend is C&C in Cary, hope too see you there.

I've had my RT/10 for four years now, and I never get tired of looking at it. My wife usually gives me a kickstart to get going on the other stuff.

This is awesome! We live off of 55 headed toward Angier just outside of Fuquay. Our kids goto Fuquay schools. Nice to know another Viper is so close.

When I got my Viper last year, I stood in the garage for nearly 3 hours just staring at it. I had no tag for it at the time so I couldn't get it on the road, but I was content just to stare..

So good to see all of the new folks joining up in the Carolinas region! Can't wait to meet those I haven't met yet!

"The Men Who Stare at Vipers" it wouldn't exactly be an action packed movie, but strangely popular among this crowd. I am guilty of the same. I don't drive it except to club meetings. I just stare at it and rub it with a diaper.

You guys are strange, when I got my first Viper (98 RT/10 in 2001), I was driving it, not standing around gawking at it?! Bought it, drove to meet up with other Viper owners in Tampa, then drove it back home 10 hours the next day!

That's because standing around and gawking at it requires it be clean...

Welcome Dave! Glad to see you here.

Great group of people here that you will soon find out. Dave has owned his GTS for 10 years which is commendable. You should see the pics he sent me....feel free to post them if you like Dave.
