Played around with some Ferrari Challenge cars yesterday

At Sebring. First time out with this car at Sebring. Love the car, setup is spot on. Hate the MGW shifter that's in the car though. Never missed shifts with my Hurst in my old car. I was given a tip to try something before buying a new one. Will be back at Sebring in a couple of weeks for NARRA. Hopefully I can get the RPM, throttle, and brake pressures working on the new AIM Smarty HD. Love that thing BTW.

    Love it, thanks for posting.
What video set up is that? How do you get the track layout and your dials on screen like that?

God that ACR-X looks like fun. Good driving. Those Challenge cars have paddle shift and you were all over them. Thumbs up!

    Nice video!

Hand placement on the shifter made all the difference for me. Never miss a shift now.

I just took the preload plate off the mount to keep the shifter from rubbing one of the rivets in the tunnel. If that doesn't work I'll be getting rid of the MGW.

Nice power & line thru the tight apexes! I've found that on the mid-speed corners, you might try running the next higher gear. That will force you to find the smoothest line and be more steady with the throttle. Get the line figured out, then drop down a gear and use more torque. The Viper has so much power you can afford to experiment with different gears in the corners.

I know, we almost broke the X record set by Kuno when we went back. I should have put a new set of tires on the car.

Entertaining vid. That last 458 Challenge car looks like it gets out nice on corner exit but just can't get away from you in the turns lol...Nice driving. Thanks for sharing.
