How do the tail lights come off for gen 4 vert?

How do you remove the housing to get the light assembly out? I want to get mine tinted, but want to do it for the best finish and it appears the would be easier when removed.

inside trunk, remove velcroed carpet near back of tail lights. Then there are I think 3 nuts that need to be removed. On top there are 2 hex bolts. Something like that. Basically its a few screws and nuts and pull it directly out backwards (not upwards.)
