Congrats, very nice choice. BTW John Gastman set up my first ever drive of a Viper. I now own two. Perhaps I'll buy a GenV from John in the future.

Congratulations. I love the SBP color. I've had people tell me they even see some purple at night under street lights. Like you I have the sepia interior and could not be happier. Do yourself a favor and watch Junkman2000's videos on YouTube for detailing advice. Microfiber towels made in S. Korea are the best and you can get them from the ragman online. These things show every micro scratch. After using cheap microfiber towels and developing micro scratches I watched Junkman's videos, had the car buffed, started using the good stuff and haven't had any more paint issues since. Have 7,000 miles on mine so far and looking forward to the next 7,000.

Beautiful car, you're going to love it!

Thanks for the advice about Junkman. It will be a challenge to keep the swirl marks under control ,but this color deserves it.

If you really want to reduce the swirl marks dry it with an electric leaf blower. Works great when the car is waxed, gets water out of all the cracks and nothing touches the paint to create swirls marks. Use lots of a lubricating soap when washing her.

    ^^^^^^^ This time 100.

The "two bucket" method, a-la Junkman using a foam gun and grit guards. Obviously my car is red but even when it is dirty it looks good. My GF got me the In-Line water softener from Griots a year ago and with that and the leaf blower, no punishing of the paint at all.

Back to the topic, congratulations on your new car. I will be interested to hear your experience with such a big jump. The refinement must be a total trip to get used to.
