    Upgrade from GenI to GenV

Thanks to John Gastman of Roanoke Motor Co I made the big upgrade from 1 to 5. He made a complex 2 car trade-in and then searched the
country for the car we wanted. Its a 2013 GTS , shadow blue pearl with the sepia leather interior. I loved my Gen I, which was a bucket list item from the time I saw my first Viper at the Indy 500. That big engine, little car, Shelby Cobra like car really spoke to my Hot Rod soul. Now with
the passing of years the idea of a few more comfort items and some 'nanny' driving assists, seems OK with me. I have not driven it very much
due to a new back problem and now winter is coming after all. But I love the this new Viper! Can't wait to be able to take it to the track and
see what it does! I already know how to have a GenI backend pass the front…..

See if you can sign up for the Dec SRT Viper event in Las Vegas. That would give you a taste of how great the new car you bought really is. Might make it a long winter waiting to drive yours though.

What I really, really wanted to do was the COTA in Texas in December, but I had to cancel because of back problems. That would have been a real
test of me and the new wheels!

Congrats. The more miles you put on the Gen 5, the more you will love it. Bought my Orange TA from John, first class car guy!

Vary Nice! I've been considering trading/selling my 2002 ACR and 2005 Mercedes E500 for a Gen V GTS. It's a hard decision. Both cars are in showroom condition with extremely low miles.

Keep the 02' Viper then and punt that 85' Vette. No matter how good of shape the 85' is in, still an 85' Vette. Nice diverse collection though.

Congratulations. That color combo was my original order until I got impatient and swapped my deposit for a built car. It will be one of the rarest Gen V snakes. Enjoy it in good health.

It's a thought. I've been working so much lately, I haven't had much time to drive any of my cars. I get to work at home when I'm not traveling on business. Some weeks I don't drive any of my cars. I really hate to give up the 02 ACR.
