What other cars catch your eye, and would you consider buying one?

Top two on my list right now are the 2014+ Stingray or an older Gallardo.

Two opposite ends of the spectrum each I suppose. I think I would actually go for a 2014 Stingray. I see the resale on the used ones (only a few months old) is quite low compared to new (I see them listed in the low $50k range). Also the 7-speed manual interests me, as well as new car warranty.

    Whats on your radar?

Would love an Old Chevy 55 Pick up truck, Anything out of American Graffiti, Lamborghini Miura, for modern cars, C5 Corvette, Daytona Cobra replica, Porsche 917 replica, Saleen S7, Aston Martin Vanquish, Falcon Mach7, Gen V ACR

Not really into Ferraris or other European stuff

No cash for any of these, but its nice to dream

    OP,
Is this a real list of what people are ACTUALLY considering buying or just another wannabe dream list?

Could be either. Lets have fun with it, but try to keep it real. I'm listing cars that are actually on my radar. Not a replacement for the Viper, just something else.

I would also seriously consider and AC Cobra kit car, or a 64-67 Mustang with a 5.0 EFI swap. Just need to talk my wife into that house with the 5 car garage!

I should say that I looked into building an SLC Superlite as well. Still might do that at somepoint.

If we are looking at a wish list, the Radical is my choice.

Now if we are looking at cars we are realistically searching, I have my eye set on a Lotus Exige. It's basically a bare bones go cart with a body and plates. I have also looked at Lotus7s, but I am not a roadster or convertible guy.

Always loved a 69 Mustang Mach 1 or Boss 302. Ford GT Heritage edition.

Lotus' are one of my favorite cars! By far. I kinda by passed them though when I bought the Viper, but yes the Exige is one heck of an enthusiasts car!

Thats a tough one. Theres not too much out there that catches my eye. I was always partical to the Lamborghini Reventon. Sweet looking car. Something about that car just catches my eye.

They made an open air version of this car as well.

Then there is the Ferrari F50. Fortunate enough to have seen one in person. Sounded AMAZING!

I have a friend who has had a couple Lotus Exiges. It is fun and absolutely is a glorified go kart. But it is really easy on tires so you can track it pretty cheaply. And it does love tracks. On the street, it suffers from "dynamic lightening", as the Lotus enthusiasts call it. My friend even had the rear diffuser just fall off. He keeps extra clips around just for stuff like that. Definitely a good time and a head turner though.

    Per the thread topic...
I am looking at a ram 2500 (have always had half tons but next one will be a 3/4 or 1 ton) but cant decide on diesel or gas. and I also might be interested in the hellcat challenger or charger at some point in the near future. And if I am really dreaming, would love a 69 charger resto-mod. New brakes, new suspension, AC, 6.4L hemi. I grew up on dukes of hazard. I even still have my toy ones from when I was a kid.

    Fun thread!
