Carolinas Holiday Party!

It's time once again for our annual Carolinas VOA Holiday Party! Once again, our gathering will be held in Greensboro, NC which is a good location for a majority of our members. Dinner arrangements have been made at Bravo Cucina Italiana for Saturday, November 22nd at 6:30pm. We have arranged a private dining room, and like last year, we will also hold a silent auction following dinner with LOTS of cool Viper goodies.

There is a registration fee for the Holiday Dinner of ONLY $10 per person. Your Carolinas Viper Club and Capital Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Garner, NC is subsidizing a majority of the expenses for the dinner leaving you with a bargain!!! A BIG thank you to management at Capital Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Garner AND to our VP, Mike Reeves who doubles as the Sales Manager at CCDJR for making this possible!

For those traveling from afar, or just want more time to socialize with Viper friends after dinner, we have arranged a block of hotel rooms for Saturday night at the Hyatt Place in Greensboro. The reservation phone number is 1-888-867-4003. There are 15 King rooms reserved under the Carolinas Viper Club (or use group code "G-CVCG"). You will have through November 11th to reserve a room, but you should register and reserve ASAP as the rooms will go fast! The rate is $97 per night (taxes extra) and includes the following:

• AM Kitchen Skillet breakfast buffet served Sunday from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.
• Wireless Internet access
• Self parking with an available covered parking garage!
• Shuttle service within a three-mile radius of hotel
• Hotel bar open until midnight

The address of the hotel is 1619 Stanley Rd in Greensboro which is < 10 minutes from the restaurant. Many thanks to Craig Jonson for helping us out with the hotel arrangements!!!

Well I was just informed that also on Nov 22 is our church's "puertorrican night", and that my daughter will be appearing there, which means I won't be able to make the Christmas party, thanks for all the good memories this year, and hopefully i'll be able to go to more rides next year, Have a happy thanksgiving and Merry Christmas to all.!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Dave, I'll second your post! I was amazed when I looked at the time and found that we had been there for four hours...really surprised me how quickly the time went.

Many thanks to Brian for his incredible donations for the silent auction. Special thanks to Capital CJDR for their very generous support of our Club -- plus the chocolate covered pretzels were a nice surprise!

I wish there had been more time to chat with everyone, so I'll wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving and a merry Christmas. Looking forward to seeing you all soon!
