Terrible 2003 Dodge Viper accident in NY

Orange County – On Sunday, Oct. 26th State Police in Monroe were advised of two men who had not been heard from for over 24 hours. Police said Aaron Vays, 25 and Evan Finell, 23 of Monroe had gone to a car show in New Jersey on Saturday evening and had not been heard from since. The investigation revealed they attended a car show in the Meadowlands Sport Complex on Saturday, Oct. 25th. In the early hours of Sunday, Oct. 26th, Vays and Finell stopped on ST-17 in Ramsey, NJ for gas and cigarettes. They had been out of contact with anyone since, said police. An extensive search of the main and local roads leading from NJ to the Monroe area was conducted by State and Local Police plus NYSP Helicopter. This afternoon the vehicle was located down an embankment under a tree on Nininger Road in the Town of Woodbury. Both Vays and Finell were found deceased in the vehicle, a 2003 Dodge Viper. The cause of the accident is under investigation.

Becareful folks and even though fall is a beautiful time to drive, road conditions begin to change and cooler temps prevail. Not sure of the cause yet, but still be careful
