I was told this...
"You have good taste.
You got the one with the stick shift... That's what I would have done."
I've been told about the V12 option as well.
Best one was "I know that you can't go full throttle in those or else you spin!" They were serious….
My Dealer told me before I bought it that my Gen V had 600 HP and you have to chip it to get 640 HP.
So I was at Goodwood this past weekend, some old bloke walks around the car then mutters comments towards me, so is this car practical for our roadsWhat a pillock!
Well I tell him yes, you can make tea and put sandwiches on the rear wing as it also serves as a good table

I've been asked about the V8 and V12 options a few times..![]()
Yep forgot the V12 one, Guy with a V8 Vauxhall Murano (V8 Holden), walking around the car telling his girlfriend all about the V12![]()
The neighborhood "Car Guy" asked me if my Gen II GTS was "the new Sebring".
Yes, he was serious.
How COOL he lets you drive it!![]()
Use the Report a post feature... It works!
Another good one:
Stranger: "Bro, are you crazy buying that car? There's so much maintenance needed and it's really hard to work on!"
Me: "Not sure where you heard that, it's not bad at all."
Stranger: "Wow, what kind of car is that anyway?"
I kid you not.... I don't like being rude so I just said its a Viper and went on my way...
"They are not making Vipers any more."
"They are so unsafe that Chrysler decided to crush the remaining Vipers rather than sell them."
"wheres the vette at?/did you bring the vette?"
"what's ACR stand for"
"oh that's just a sticker on there huh" (referring to acr decal)
"how do you open the door?/wheres the door handle?"
"can you put the window down, wheres the button?"
"its broke" (3 year old nephew points to the side gill heat extractor)
