We're these ever used in vipers? There's been a safety recall as they can kill you. Several Chrysler/Dodge products were effected. Junk Japanese product.

Don't know but I read that it affects vehicles made in 2008 and prior. Breaking news is that NHTSA is requesting a nationwide recall. Before today they were only replacing them in high humidity areas of the country. So far the recall includes Ford, Honda, Chrysler, Mazda and BMW vehicles.
