Vipers like back pressure. I fail to see why anyone would want to run straight pipes.

    WTH is "agency power" ?

AP's stuff looks great and I'm interested in what Waterdamage dynos. Pulling the cats off mine as we speak I'll let you know what it makes by mid November .

I wouldn't do it. My Gen2 is as close to straight pipes as can be but it's livable because the exhaust exits in the rear and the car has higher gearing. I'm thinking that with the side exhaust and the lower gearing, straight pipes on a GenV would be really annoying and I like LOUD.... just not directly into my ears constantly while cruising on the highway.

Straight pipes LOUD at the side exit. Like really really really loud. Might be OK on a coupe, but on a Vert even with the windows and top up those are loud. Loud enough to make you paranoid that you will be on the constant lookout for the 5O. That all said, it is friggin awesome to run those.

Holy hell that's loud!! I'm all for weight saving, but I don't think my town would be able to stand me with those...

And not to be a douche, but you misspelled "Straight".

After riding shotgun in Redsled's GTS-R on the track, I'd never do straight side pipes unless it's a race car like his. Not sure what his exhaust set up is, but it was so loud my ears literally hurt, even inside a helmet. Stick with Corsa, I've heard nothing but good things.

I had the Corsa Cat Backs on my 2014 and they resonated too much at highway speeds (around town they were fine). It drove me crazy and I took them off.

Im running full Bellanger headers with their hf cat and straight pipes. Its loud. Just running around town at low rpm its not too bad but when you open it up all hell breaks loose and its insane. I like loud but if was going to do a track day or do some serious long term high rpm running i would wear ear plugs.
