I know a bunch of us are getting ready for the Bucket List CoTA event here in Texas in December with VOA! Looking around today to get some virtual laps under my belt so I have a general working knowledge of the track layout and look, I found SimRaceway. It is FREE to use so that is a hell of a deal.

Go there and go to the bottom of the page and download the software. Set up an account as well, then install the software, and from there you can log in. On your first visit, not all the tracks and cars will not be visible yet, as it has to download these. So if you fire up the software and let it sit for a while it will download those in the background. Of course how long this will take will depend on your internet connection.

You can set up the simulation to work with gamepad, keyboard, mouse, etc., if you don't have a wheel.

Once you get the CoTA track downloaded you can select it and off to the track you go.

Obviously driving the sim and driving your own car will be a TON different, but it will get you in tune with the track layout and certainly that is a good thing and will save you a few laps/session(s) on event day with getting comfortable with where you are going exactly. Turn 1 coming off that rise and falling hard left is not something I would want to do once and NOT be aware of where I was going, no matter how slow.

Also, I assume we are not going to be running full CoTA in reverse??? The National Circuit? Or the Club Circuit? But I ASSUME we are running the full track? Kurt?
