Too bad the foundry burned and Conley dropped the project. I think 1 complete engine exists.

Yes, there's one complete working engine.

A few more sample pictures of the detail of some parts from this set. Amazing really!

    Hi Ernesto,
This isn't the way we typically sell things on this forum... if you want to sell your item, please start a classified ad with fixed price you want for it, with Shipping to the USA from Portugal.

You can put the photos that are in this thread in your classified ad free of charge.
Here's the link to the category that your item should be listed under. http://driveviper.com/classifieds/g2...ellaneous.html

If you want to sell to the highest bidder I would suggest listing your item on ebay...

    Thanks!
Use the Report a post feature... It works!

I saw current ones, different models, they build listed at 8,500. That is a full working model though. 5.5 HP, 9hp supercharged.

    Hello.

Jokes aside, this is a collectable item and in fact it only has the value that is supposedly so, to who knows what this is and who knows what he wants .

I am willing to sell for 2900 USD plus shipping.

It's a lot of money, I know, but it's cheap!

Will not find another one, nowhere, never again!

    Regards from Portugal.

It would be collectible if it was complete, this is just parts. It's cool but not $2900 cool

    Hello all.

I've got an offer of 1300 euros (around 1600 USD), but I'm looking for a bit more. So, if anyone is interested and give me 1900 USD for the parts, I'm willing to sell.
I would send worldwide. Delivery costs included.

    Thank you for your interest.

    Regards.

Dodge Viper 1/4 scale conley engine

Before anyone considers paying serious money for this item, you should probably bear in mind Ernesto paid what the item is really worth, namely $40 plus $80 in shipping.
I should know because I sold it to him.
I'm all for someone making a profit, but his asking price is ridiculous. It wouldn't hurt if he got his own pictures to advertise the item, and stopped using mine.

Please also bear in mind that it could never be made to run, even if the block was there. There are flaws in all of the parts which would prevent their use for anything other than a display. As for being one of two casting sets, he has that wrong too.

The item is neither rare, nor collectible. I picked it up with a series of other parts I needed for several Conley Engines, which I collect.

    Regards

    Dan
