Any enclosed trailers going from S. FLA to Texas

    Hi,

I'm looking to join the Viper fold soon by picking up a GTS. The car is located in South Florida and I live in Houston. I've got quotes from the major transporters but think they will not be able to give me an exact pick up window. Is anyone transporting a car already from S FL to Texas around November 9th - 11th?

Any tips or leads would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Rick

Just a follow up. I ended up using Exotic Car Transport out of Orlando, FL. They did a good job getting my car from Doug Levin's shop in FL. to my home in Houston. They picked it up on a Monday and it was delivered that Thursday.

    Thanks,

    Rick

How much was it? I'm looking at a car in the area as well. Need to get it to OKC though.

FWIW I have had 2 Vipers delivered by Reliable and was happy with them. I paid a little bit less in exchange for being patient (there was no reason to get it to me quicker other than I wanted it now). So I saved a few hundred by allowing them a few extra days. One delivered from Sacramento CA to Arizona and the other from Houston to Arizona. I think it was about 1000 dollars each time.

Also on the first one, in lieu of cash as a tip I gave the driver a cooler filled with various snacks and drinks (A lot of good stuff too, gourmet stuff) He said it was the best tip he had ever gotten. He said that a lot of people don't even think to ask if wants water or anything. Obviously it's not the recipients responsibility to feed and quench the thirst of the driver, but you can still just be nice to a person for the sake of it.

Congratulations on your purchase and welcome to Viper ownership. It's one hell of a ride!
